You aren't too expensive....

Feb 26, 2024

Ok what you hear now might blow your mind BUT: You might be too CHEAP!

Let me share a personal experience with you.

A few years back, I received an inquiry from a client interested in a Goddess Shoot®. I shared my pricing details with her and everything seemed good. Back then my prices were around $250-$400 for a 1-2 hour photoshoot session.

However, she later messaged me, saying she felt a genuine connection but ended up choosing another photographer.

At the time, I assumed it was because my prices were too high. Even though she hadn't mentioned a specific reason, I convinced myself it was due to cost. Months later, I discovered that the same client had actually booked a different photographer (a friend of mine) who was charging significantly more than I was at the time.

This realisation shattered the misconception I held about my prices being too high. The truth may have been the opposite – maybe my rates weren't high enough.

I'm not here to make a universal statement about everyone's pricing. I understand each situation is unique. However, it's important to acknowledge that price contributes to the perception of value. The idea of "you get what you pay for" is so deeply rooted in our minds, especially when it comes to investing in a personalized and empowering photoshoot experience.

So, if you're targeting clients who value unique and empowering portraits but are charging less, ask yourself, "Am I just too cheap?" It's a powerful question that has the potential to change the whole trajectory of your business entirely – it certainly did for me!

Also, because I understand pricing is such a complex topic I created a completely FREE pricing guide for you HERE.

I love giving you gifts that will help you on your journey to becoming your most empowered and authentic creative self, please share with me your findings and whether this has helped you on your journey to becoming your most creative self. ✨🪞🤍

With Love,
